The Macc Policy and Influence Team has been looking at issues around sector representation in the city. By representation, we mean situations in which organisations don’t just put forward their own views but those of others. This can be in forums, consultation meetings, decision making boards, panels and so on. We want to:
• Get a better picture of the representation work organisations are doing
• Find out about opportunities for VCSE representation, both now and in the future
Are you a women’s organisation wanting to make your voice heard? Rosa’s Voices from the Frontline offers grants of up to £5,000 to women's organisations of all sizes for advocacy, campaigning and activism. 
Voices from the Frontline supports women’s organisations to shine a light on their fight for gender equality in the UK.
The Auto Trader Community Fund aims to encourage small, community-based and locally controlled groups that manage themselves, encourage people to get involved as volunteers and who just need a bit of financial help to be able to work with their community in the way they’d like. 
The Community Business Fund, which has previously given away £22 million, is set to reopen on Wednesday 24 April offering grants between £50,000 and £300,000 for community businesses to become more sustainable. 
Manchester City Council recognises the important role Work Clubs play in providing flexible and informal employment support to workless Manchester residents. In recognition of the valuable role they play in delivering employment support services, Manchester City Council has made available grant funding for Manchester Work Clubs to apply for. 
The University of Manchester and Greater Manchester Police are seeking to develop proactive interventions to educate and empower students on issues around sexual violence; with the overall aim of preventing students becoming victims or perpetrators of these behaviours. Invitations are invited from organisations with a proven track record of changing mind-set and behaviours to work with this cohort as a collective.
