The Skills for Employment team at The Growth Company are running events in Manchester during Get Online Week to support residents to become digitally included.

There are sessions running on 17 October between 9am – 3pm (hour long sessions 9-10, 11-12, 1-2, 2-3) at The Growth Company, Ground Floor, Lee House, 90 Great Bridgewater Street, Manchester, M1 5JW.

Achive your goals - free adult learning courses 

Join in, build confidence, gain employability skills and meet new people

Our new courses use the theme of football to make learning fun and relevant. 

We offer two types of courses which are free for Manchester residents 

  • 15 hours
  • 50 hours (includes a museum work placement)

Modules include customer care, financial literacy and maths, museums for health and well-being, time management and ESOL or literacy development.

Heart and Parcel would like to invite women ESOL learners to practise their English, learn new recipes, eat, chat, share and more.

The next session is starting on 10 September and will take place every Monday for 6 weeks, 10am to 1pm at Roby Church, 307 Dickenson Road, Longsight, Manchester, M13 0NG.

It is free to join, and learners can be of any level. It is not accredited, but just a relaxed and informal place to practice and use your English.
