Volunteer Coordinators Forum - Rethinking the Role of Volunteers

Monday 19th October 2020, 13.30pm – 3.30pm

This Volunteer Coordinators’ Forum is in partnership with Volunteer Centres across Greater Manchester. It is being led by Macc and is open to organisations working in any of the boroughs in Greater Manchester.

Covid-19 has brought, and will continue to pose many challenges to involving volunteers but it has also presented opportunities to work differently. During this session we will explore practical steps that can be taken to adapt and rethink the role of volunteers in your group, project or organisation, and so that you can continue to involve existing volunteers appropriately and effectively – whilst taking a fresh approach when considering your future recruitment.

The aim of the session is to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to undertake development and adaptation of your work on involving volunteers.
