Community Right to Challenge

Are you considering tendering for a contract?
Do you have a contract due for re tendering?

If so you may be eligible for financial support to help your organisation to prepare your submission.

Are you asking the following questions:
• Is my organisation at a level of capacity which will allow it to both tender for and deliver public services?
• Do we have an adequate understanding of the nature of the service we’re interested in delivering?
• Do we have the right policies and procedures in place to get through the Local Authorities standard Pre Qualifying Questionnaire (PQQ) – this is a first stage process before you’re invited to tender that assesses your organisations ability to deliver the service?
• Do we understand the type and level of risk associated with delivering this service?

If you need help with things such as adopting an appropriate legal structure for your organisation; adopting an externally accredited quality management system; or strengthening your organisation’s Board/Management Group then you may be eligible for a national pre-feasibility grant of up to £10,000.

The funding is available from the Social Investment Business (SIB) under the Community Right to Challenge’ scheme and will help answer your questions, develop your organisation and improve your chances of success in tendering for and running services.
