HSE approved First Aid training designed to provide delegates with an exciting interactive learning experience.

The strucutre of each session is a combination of scenario based learning with practical work to prepare you for situations at work which will require immediate first aid treatment.

Ouch trainers are specially selected for their experience providing first aid medical support which means they can offer comprehensive courses which equips their delegates with essential knowledge and vital practical skills.

Course content:

  • Introduction to the course
  • Incident and casualty management
  • Primary Survey
  • CPR
  • Secondary Survey
  • Choking
  • Disorders of the circulation
  • First Aid equipment and accident records
  • Wounds and Bleeds
  • Burns and Scalds
  • Fractures, dislocations, spinal injuries and soft tissue injuries
  • Client specific conditions: effects of cold/heat, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy and poisoning
  • End of course discussion and completion of course paperwork
