Chorton Ward U Decide event

Chorlton residents are being invited to vote on projects that could improve their community.

Residents are being encouraged to have their say on how £7,500 worth of money should be spent during the Chorton Ward U Decide event.

Groups from across the area were asked to apply for cash grants funding projects aimed at helping the community, ranging from flower planters to family fun days and youth projects, up to a maximum value of £750 each.

The deadline for these projects was last month and the groups will now explain their projects to their fellow residents during next week's event.

Residents who attend the U Decide event will be able to vote on which of these 15 projects they think should be given the thumbs up.

The event is only open to residents of the Chorlton ward.
