UK Research and Policy Officer at Railway Children
Railway Children is an international organisation that fights for vulnerable children who live alone at risk on the streets, where they suffer abuse and exploitation. In the UK, society often denies their existence, and in other countries the problem is so prevalent that it has become ‘normal’.
Railway Children is currently into year one of their three-year organisational strategy and are seeking an exceptional individual who shares their passion, values and determination to achieve their challenging outcomes.
The UK Research and Policy Officer will join a dynamic UK team, and play a critical role in overseeing research projects, shaping replicable models of practice and providing evidence based reports and factsheets. Reporting directly to the Head of UK Policy and Public Affairs the post holder will work alongside the UK Programme Officer, implementing the three year strategy and working closely with funders and partner organisations.
The post is funded until May 2013 with possible extension to December 2014.
