The Association of Chairs new series of guides - Working with trustees - has been created in response to feedback from Chairs that getting the best out of a disparate group of individuals and managing difficult relationships are some of the biggest challenges they face.
The series aims to equip Chairs with the skills to enhance relationships among their trustees, improving the effectiveness of their board and ultimately their charity. The new guides offer tools and techniques to diffuse difficult situations and turn a struggling board team into a performing one.
The three guides in the series are: Working one-to-one, Working as a team, and Working through difficult board relationships.
The guides are available free to download in the members’ section for Beacon Programme participants and AoC members. Non-members can purchase print copies.
