Barnes, Cotton Districts

The main purpose of Barnes, Cotton Districts is to provide a regular income (currently £45 per month) for people in financial need whilst suffering from permanent of temporary illness, disease or disability. Barnes, Cotton Districts also give one-off grants, usually to assist with the purchase of specific items of equipment related to their illness (e.g. new bed/fridge etc.)

Cotton Districts provides a week's subsidised half-board holiday in either one of their nominated Hotels in Blackpool or Lytham or a similar contribution to a holiday elsewhere in the UK. Where someone requires a carer, financial support will also be given to them.

Additionally Barnes, Cotton Districts will, on occasion, give financial support to other Charities working with people who fit our criteria.

The areas Barnes, Cotton Districts cover are:
• the counties of Greater Manchester and Lancashire
• the districts of Craven in North Yorkshire and High Peak in Derbyshire
• the districts of Macclesfield and Warrington in Cheshire
• the district of Calderdale in West Yorkshire
