23 Nov 2018 - 10:26 by michelle.foster

Are you already politically active? Do you have experience of campaigning, activism or making a change? Are you an elected official who could provide a work shadowing experience? Do you want to learn about disabled suffragettes and other role models, through events and activities? Democracy Disability & Devolution

For too long too many barriers have been up against women getting their voices heard.

In the centenary year of women getting the right to vote thanks to the suffragette movement, Breakthrough is calling on women to join them to find out how to break down these obstacles.

For further information and to get, visit: www.breakthrough-uk.co.uk/democracy-disability-devolution, or contact Sam Johnson, on 0161 234 3950, text service: 0793 994 3383, or email: [email protected]

This project has been funded by the Women's Vote Centenary Scheme, part of the Government Equalities Office.
