Have your say on a Clean City funded project in East Manchester

25 Jul 2014 - 09:50 by michelle.foster

Clean City is a project to make Manchester greener and cleaner, and is funded by Manchester Airport. East Manchester regeneration team have been allocated a pot of money from the Clean City fund and now they're organising some drop in events so that local businesses and residents can pop in and tell them what the priorities should be for how the money is spent.

The Pride in East Manchester project has been allocated funding, and need you to tell them your ideas on how this can be used to improve the area.

Come along to this drop-in session and let them know your ideas on:
• what are the priorities they should be focussing on in your area (for instance, clean ups, recycling training for resident groups or recruiting volunteers?)
• what are your ideas for using the money in a way that will make real change, whilst providing best value for money?

The drop in sessions are being run on:
• 27 July 2014, 12pm to 4pm at Philips Park, Stuart Street, M11 4DN

• 5 August 2014, 5pm to 7pm at Beswick Library, 60 Grey Mare Lane, Beswick, M11 3DS

• 7 August 2014, 6pm to 8pm at Former housing office on 128 Mount Road, Gorton, M18 7GS

• Thursday 21 August 2014, 3pm to 6pm at Stirling Centre, Scotland Hall Road, Newton Heath, M40 2RD
