NHS Blood and Transplant

This scheme is part of the Government’s commitment to building support for organ donation amongst black, Asian, mixed race and minority ethnic communities and NHS Blood and Transplant are aware that local trusted organisations may be more effective at doing this due to their specialist knowledge, understanding and standing in the community.

Applications can cover activity in England, Wales or both countries. The maximum amount organisations can apply for is £10,000.

Applications for activity proposed in England must be able to demonstrate how they will inform and engage people living in England around the change in the law around organ donation and encourage people to make and share their donation decision.
