Red Rose Forest is planning to transform Manchester's Stevenson Square this summer

15 May 2013 - 13:39 by margot.sullivan

Red Rose Forest is planning to transform Manchester's Stevenson Square this summer.

But they need your help to turn their vision into reality.

They want to plant street trees, add hanging baskets and create a green roof on top of the old toilet block.

They've already raised some funds but need your help to raise the final £6,000 for the project.

They're using an innovative website called Spacehive which helps projects looking to improve public spaces to get funding.
Please visit the Spacehive page (http://spacehive.com/stevensonsquaregreenmakeover) where you can make a pledge to support the project. Your donation won't be collected until they reach their funding target – around the middle of June. There's more information on the project on the Spacehive page.

Please dig deep and make whatever donation you can - it will really help make a difference to this part of Manchester!
