Safeguarding Conference for the Voluntary and Community Sector
***This conference is now fully booked***
This conference is aimed at practitioners and managers in organisations that work with children, young people, families, adults, including older people. The aim of this is to draw together expertise in safeguarding work across all ages.
This conference draws together some of the most pressing issues we are facing within safeguarding and will provide valuable information about the current safeguarding landscape, practice issues facing work with children, young people and adults and guidance for organisations in their work on safeguarding.
Sue Hargreaves, E-safety consultant and link with CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre), will give a presentation on the impact of E-Safety within organisations.
This came out of a specific area of work in organisations across all sectors in Manchester. E-safety doesn’t just relate to the use of computers within your organisation but also relates to employee’s use of the internet.
The program will then include a choice of two workshops to ensure you get the most out of your day.
All workshops will be lead by professionals working in that specialist area.
More information about the workshops will be sent out the week beginning 6th February.
