Manchester Voluntary & Community Sector News Spring 2012
Welcome to our Spring Bulletin. In this issue you will find information on:
• Become a Board Member at Macc
• Community First Panels in Manchester
• Training – What’s on offer
• Volunteer Centre Manchester
• Manchester Common Assessment Framework
• Planning for the Future of Your Organisation
• Health & Social Care Update
• Being A Trustee
Following on from our hectic move at Christmas time there have been further developments for Macc: the new Volunteer Centre is up and running and work on our successful bid to the Transforming Local Infrastructure programme has started.
One of our tasks was to convert from our old legal structure to become a registered charity and now that’s completed, Macc is now looking to recruit new trustees, please take a look at the enclosed advert and also the article about what Being a Trustee of a charity involves.
In January we ran some consultation sessions to find out what the voluntary sector expects from us in the future. We will soon be publishing a report on this followed by a launch of our new improved offer for the sector later this year.
Thanks to everyone who contributed – if you would still like to comment you can email us at: email@example.com.
If you do not wish to be on our mailing lists, or you would like to talk to us about being in our next “bundle” please contact us on 0333 321 3021, or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
