Training Needs Questionnaire - Year 2

Last year you helped us identify common trends in training and barriers faced by groups when accessing training by responding to our training needs questionnaire.

You told us:
• Training for accessing funding, organisational planning, health and safety and committee development were a priority
• Cost was the main barrier to access training
• One day courses in community venues were preferred

We:
• Delivered funding (GrantNet) workshops
• Negotiated discounts with training providers
• Amended the training calendar to include free, discounted and under £50.00 filters to training searches
• Identified training linked to the results of the questionnaire

We will continue to build on the relationships made with a number of training providers to make training more accessible to voluntary sector groups.

We have designed a year 2 version of the questionnaire to measure trends by ranking specific training topics in order of priority along with the opportunity to comment on e-learning training.

All information provided will enable us to best match future training opportunities and identify gaps in provision.
