Over half the population say that they follow a religion, with minority beliefs growing. Some of these beliefs and practices can be at odds with mainstream youth provision.
This workshop will:
- Identify the barriers to involvement for followers of some faiths
- Explore how to remove these barriers through engagement, participation and programming
- Explore how and where to market youth provision to be inclusive
- Consider the importance of challenging myths and stereotypes and how to implement this
This workshop is being delivered by Jonny Wineberg, We Stand Together
This workshop is available free of charge to those working in Manchester. People who work in Greater Manchester are welcome to attend at a cost of £15.
