Identifying and Supporting Young Carers and Young Adult Carers

This workshop with Manchester Carers Centre will focus on Young Carers and Young Adult Carers. The session aims to increase the understanding of who is a young carer, what they might have to do and how to effectively support young people with caring responsibilities. The workshop also aims to help professionals identify young carers, explore what the impact of being a young carer might have on a young person’s life and the inequalities they may face as a result. This workshop has been created to include the lived experiences of young carers and young adult carers.

This workshop is free of charge to those working in Manchester. People who work in Greater Manchester are welcome to attend at a cost of £15.
