Date & Time of Training:
Tue, 20/03/2012 - 12:30 - 16:30
Venue:
CLES, Express Networks, 1 George Leigh Street, Manchester, M4 5DL

Improving and enhancing the population’s personal and social well-being has been an aim of local and national government for several years, but recent policy developments and the decision by the ONS to measure the well-being of the nation has given even greater prominence to the agenda.

This half day workshop will provide participants with:

  • an overview of recent policy developments relevant to well-being;
  • an opportunity to explore how we define well-being;
  • guidance on the many ways in which to assess and measure well-being, using primary and secondary data and both quantitative and qualitative research.

By the end of the workshop participants will be better placed to measure well-being and the impact of well-being interventions, to interpret data and to understand and communicate findings from research.
