You will have seen recent briefings encouraging organisations to attend training on Safeguarding children with a disability.
This training pack has been developed following the review and is for use within your organisations to train the multi-agency workforce. The powerpoint includes notes slides.
Key messages from the review are relevant to all organisations that work with children and young people and you should ensure that you can disseminate this information throughout your organisation.
One of the multi-agency recommendations from this review was for frontline staff to book on the Safegaurding Children with a Disability course. I know some of you have done this but I would recommend that if you work with children and young people that you should send at least one member of your organisation on this training.
