Magic Little Grants

Localgiving has teamed up with the Postcode Community Trust to provide over 400 grants of £500 to small charities and community groups. Thanks to support from the players of People's Postcode Lottery, the Magic Little Grants Fund provides small charities and community groups the opportunity to access funding to deliver engaging physical activities, which help to overcome barriers to participation. VCS Infrastructure Focus Sessions

As part of the Joint (MCC and MHCC) review of the VCS infrastructure contracts we have with Macc, we are running some focus group sessions in September which we welcome you to attend. This will provide an opportunity to meet with us face to face and tell us about your experiences working with Macc and to help shape what the future VCS infrastructure support contract should look like.

£2 million Youth strand of the Building Connections Fund opens

Eligible charities and community organisations from across England can apply for up to £80,000 from the Building Connections Fund Youth strand, to expand or enhance their work tackling youth loneliness. Coop Foundation

Funding, delivered by the Co-op Foundation, is available for projects that support any groups of young people within the most deprived 30% areas of England.

#IWILL 2018 – now open for applications

#iwill is a UK-wide campaign that aims to make social action part of life for as many 10 to 20 year-olds as possible by the year 2020. Through collaboration and partnership it is spreading the word about the benefits of youth social action. #Iwill partners

The programme aims to increase overall participation of young people in meaningful social action from 40% to 60% by 2020, with a particular focus on deprived areas.
