GCHQ’s Women in Tech Scholarship 2020 provides the ideal opportunity for those wanting to gain a better understanding of Software Engineering in GCHQ. The scholarship will enable you to gain an insight into the fundamental technical skills needed to develop, deliver and succeed in one of the most exciting areas of technology. GCHQ have partnered with a leading training provider to deliver this exciting scheme, which has been designed to empower aspiring technologists.

Greater Manchester: ESF Community Grants 2019-2021

WEAA £4.9 million programme to tackle unemployment has been launched in April 2019 with backing from the European Social Fund.

The funds have been granted by the government’s Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) in partnership with Greater Manchester Combined Authority to the WEA (Workers' Educational Association), an adult education charity which provides training and learning opportunities for people at risk of exclusion.

Back on Track – new courses timetable Jan-Feb 2020

Back on TrackBack on Track provides courses for people with experience of drug and alcohol problems, homelessness, offending, or mental health problems. Back on Track offer courses such as basic skills (reading, writing and maths), computers and art, as well as sessions on ‘life skills’ such as cookery and confidence building, and pre-employment skills.
