The Duke of Edinburgh Award is the world’s leading youth achievement award for 14 to 24-year olds. It aims to inspire, guide and support young people in their self-development and recognise their duke of edinburgh awardachievements. Young people design their own personal Duke of Edinburgh programme, choosing a challenge under each section of the Award: volunteering, physical, skills, expedition.

Fully Funded St John Ambulance Health Citizens Programme

The Charity Service – Chronicle Cinderella Fund

Funding from the Chronicle Cinderella Home Fund is available for individuals or organisations to support the costs of respite care and support (including but not limited to the provision of holidays) for the charity servicethe benefit of children and young people under the age of 25 who are sick, convalescent, have special educational needs or are disadvantaged for any other reason.

Triangle Trust 1949 Fund opens for young offender employment project applications

The Triangle Trust 1949 Fund is currently accepting applications from across the UK for projects that work with young people with criminal convictions (up to the age of 25 years) to find meaningful fundingand secure employment.

Grants of up to £60,000 over two years are available to groups with an income of less than £1.5 million over the past three years. A maximum of £30,000 per year can be requested.

The Peter Kershaw Memorial Bursary

This is an annual award made by the Trustees in memory of the Trust's benefactor. The bursary is intended to fund the costs of a youth leader, though other forms of youth work will be considered.

fundingOrganisations with charitable status in Greater Manchester are invited to apply for the bursary, which will be awarded on the basis of up to £25,000 for year 1, £15,000 for year 2 and £10,000 for year 3.
