Hanifah Community Initiative are providing opportunities for young people aged 16 -25 to join their Young People's leadership program and gain the following skills and possible qualification:

Media (film making) professional training course (funded by Media Trust)
Team member skills
Team leader skills leading to Level 2 NVQ in Team Leading
Volunteering
Developing Social enterprise knowledge and skills
Outdoor challenges (Eden)

Local Youth Panels and Manchester Youth Council

The next dates for the Local Youth Panels have been organised and it would be great to get young people aged 13 - 18 to come along.

The Local Youth Panels give young people an opportunity to have a voice and be heard. Manchester Youth Council will be launched in early November, so people can get involved in this through signing up to the Local Youth Panel.

Chances Volunteering Project

Chances is a fun and interactive youth volunteering project for young women aged 13-19 from Wythenshawe.

Over 6 sessions young women will find out what volunteering is, choose two group volunteering activities and look at how they can use their skills in the future. Chances is all about giving young women the opportunity to explore volunteering whilst celebrating what young women can do.

UpRising Internship

UpRising is an organisation dedicated to supporting and developing young adults aged 19–25 from diverse backgrounds in order to become the next generation of effective and connected leaders across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
