Voluntary Sector Assembly - Safeguarding Manchester's children

Registration is closed for this event
The next Voluntary Sector Assembly will look at the latest developments in Manchester safeguarding for children and early years help, discuss the issues that voluntary, community and social enterprise sector organisations should be aware of, and look ahead to see how children's safeguarding may change in the future

The issues surrounding the health, welfare and safeguarding of Manchester's children are never far from the headlines. We all have responsibility for ensuring children are safe, and to know what help and support is available.

Nicola Bailey, Manchester City Council, will be presenting an update on Manchester's safeguarding and early years help. Also, there will be a choice of three interesting and practical workshops which will discuss the issues for children and social media, how voluntary sector organisations can deal with allegations against staff, and community cohesion. Finally, there will be a 'Future of Safeguarding' panel discussion.
