Voluntary Sector Assembly - Finding and asking for funding and donations

Registration is closed for this event
Organisations need revenue of some kind at some point and most of us need regular income to enable us deliver our services and projects, and make a significant difference in our communities. The funding landscape has changed drastically over the last few years; the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector is having to think smarter about the types of income they pursue and how best to do this. There is money out there but where is it and how do we get at it?

Come along to the next Manchester Voluntary Sector Assembly on 9 May to find out about the current funding landscape, different sources of income (not just grants), how to ask people for money and some tips on working with corporates. Speakers will include Joe Saxton of nfpSynergy, who publish an excellent range of useful and topical free reports and briefings. The Big Lottery Fund will also give an update on the current changes to their funding programmes, which will take effect from April. You will also have the opportunity to attend two from a choice of four workshops on crowdfunding, working with the private sector, asking for money, and increasing donations and sources of income. The workshops will be run by Macc, Institute of Fundraising and nfpSynergy.

Register your interest to attend now and we’ll show you the money!
