Health and Social Care Policy & Strategy in Manchester and Greater Manchester
If you are representing your organisation in health and social care forums or need a broader perspective on what’s happening in health and social care policy & strategy, or starting a new job with more policy and strategic responsibilities, then this is the course for you.
Aimed at:
The workshop is open to anyone from a voluntary sector organisation with some understanding of health and social care policy and the organisation of services. The level is intermediate and is an expansion on the previous 3 hour session delivered to allow more time for additional content and thorough discussions.
It will cover:
- Key drivers in health and social care policy and strategy
- Organisational structures in Manchester and Greater Manchester for commissioning and providing services
- Key issues including:
- Integration
- Asset-based approaches to individuals and communities
- Workforce
- Care for people with longer-term needs
- Carers
Length: 5hrs
Refreshments will be provided however please bring your own lunch.
