Hate Crime Awareness Week 2018 5-11 February 2018
In the last twelve months over 70 events have been funded in the city of Manchester to highlight and promote the importance of reporting hate crimes but also to celebrate Manchester’s rich diversity and show how we work together to make our city so great. Northmoor Community Association are looking for Trustees
Share your individual expertise, knowledge and skills whilst gaining satisfaction by joining the talented board as a Trustee of Northmoor Community Association. Northmoor Community Association (NCA) is a registered local charity established in 2001, providing PQASSO quality standard services to the community and the variety of groups using the centre and services. NCA aims to inspire hope and raise aspirations of people to meet their goals, whilst being a friendly, welcoming hub of support in the community. The NCA serves the Northmoor neighbourhood and beyond, and boasts a number of successes both in terms of the range of activities it provides. Read more

Ashworth Charitable Trust
The Ashworth Charitable Trust supports humanitarian charities in the UK and overseas. Their vision statement outlines their priorities of the importance of education, the need to support marginalised people, and the capacity of people and human nature. Applicants must be a registered charity in the UK. The next deadline for applications is 28 February 2018. Read more

Charity Awards 2018
The Charity Awards provides charities of all shapes and sizes with a window to showcase their efforts and the impact they have made. The Charity Awards is a national scheme that aims to celebrate the achievements and characteristics of charities of all sizes. Awards are given out in the 10 categories and an overall winner is chosen from the winners of each category: Arts, culture and heritage; Campaigning and advocacy; Children and youth; Disability; Education and training; Environment and conservation; Grantmaking and funding; Healthcare and medical research; International Aid and development; and Social care, advice and support. Invitation to Tender - Quantify the impact of the OnSide Youth Zone network on young people
OnSide’s vision is to give all young people somewhere safe and inspiring to go in their leisure time. As the network of Youth Zones grows, it is becoming more and more important to quantify and articulate the impact of the Youth Zone network. Independently verified information is now required to present to stakeholders at a national level; the primary audiences being Government and local authorities. Secondarily, OnSide aims to generate interest and support from private sector patrons and similar stakeholders in order to expand the Youth Zone network into new areas of the UK. Tender Opportunity – Savers Support Fund
OnSide Youth Zone Network has secured funding from Nesta and DCMS through the Savers Support Fund to scale the Able to Manage social action programme to improve money management skills and reduce debt for 14-21year olds (up to aged 25 for young people with a disability). Charity Property Matters Survey 2018
The Ethical Property Foundation is a UK charity which offers voluntary organisations free property guidance, advice and workshops. It offers a wide range of expert advice on legal issues and premises management working with property professionals. The Foundation has just launched its bi-annual Charity Property Matters Survey 2018 which takes around 10 minutes to complete. This is the only sector-led property survey about charities’ property issues. Read more
