Project summary: Emotional and Mental Resilience counselling to 30 carers, covering confidence and self-esteem, bereavement and loss, general anxiety and feelings of isolation

Organisation name: Manchester Carers Forum

Organisation summary: Manchester Carers Forum is a carer led organisation which works to support unpaid carers in the city of Manchester. We further engage with health and social care commissioners and other providers within all sectors across the city. We are founder members of Manchester Carers Network and engage in education with three Universities on Health and Social Care programmes. We have established 7 peer support groups across the city and support a volunteer peer mentoring scheme with some 20 volunteers supporting over 80 carers of people with dementia.
