Fundraisers often talk of 'breaking down silo's'. Internally to other teams in our organisations and externally to the outside world, breaking down barriers and bureaucracy to achieve the vision of our charities. Sometimes the biggest silo can be the one we impose on ourselves, with a barrier created between the fundraising team and our biggest voluntary advocates in our Trustees and those who day-to-day are responsible for the operation of our charity, our management boards. Come along to find out how to work together successfully with people who are just as passionate about the cause as your team, realising that we do all have the same goals after all and ultimately using networks to grow your charity's income and awareness.
