Happy new year everyone!
I hope you all had a lovely festive break and are ready to take on 2018…
2018 is a big year for all things marketing and communications, as GDPR is set to come into place on 25th May. It might be worth getting yourself onto our website to have a look at how the new legislation will affect your organisation, you may even find the odd training course we’re running before May
In terms of what 2018 holds for all things digital, I think we are finally at a point where people and organisations are appreciating the vital role social media plays in not only the marketing world but the way in which organisations run. We now have a better hang of how to use social media and what to post, to who and when. But now this year, I think we need to learn how to take pride in the results social media marketing makes by beginning to evidence the impact it has- this will enable stakeholders, funders and anyone else that believes in using social media, to make a case for investing in it. There are many ways in which we can display this sort of evidence, and that’s one of the first things I’ll be talking about in the next blog.
I hope to be a bit more active with my blogs this year- so I want to know what kind of things you would like to see me talk about. Leave me a comment below or tweet us.
