Project summary: Expand the service to improve access to IAPT among South Asian communities through a variety of outputs: awareness events, develop outreach service, increase drop-in services to include a focus on IAPT, and working with local services to improve cultural awareness, publicity and provide guidance on engaging with communities

Organisation summary: The core aim of LMCP Care Link is to improve people’s health and wellbeing by enabling them to become more independent and take control and responsibility over their lives. Our objectives are to: provide advice, guidance, information and support to people from South Asian communities living in Trafford and Manchester to enable them to access appropriate health and social care services; enable people from BME communities living in Trafford and Manchester to access appropriate health and social care services; engage people from BME communities living in Trafford and Manchester in the development and delivery of social care services in their area; work with health and social care providers at a strategic and operational level to develop and deliver services that are accessible to people from South Asian communities.
