£13.12 per hour (£20,528 per annum) (includes enhancement for unsociable hours) plus £20 per standby

Working on a 4-week rota consisting of 3 weeks of shifts and 1 week of “Standbys”
(Standby can be activated up to 10am to cover unplanned absences i.e. sickness)
This service is closed on weekends, bank holidays and Christmas
Based at North Manchester General Hospital you will work as part of a team escorting older and vulnerable people home from hospital. If you enjoy helping people and like driving this could be the job for you. The service runs Monday to Friday 11.30-8pm.
The job involves helping people to get in and out of the Home from hospital vehicle and get settled comfortably in their home. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required as is patience and empathy and good communication skills. The post holder must have a full clean driving licence.
