5 day Wellbeing course in Rusholme run by Proper Job Theatre Company

LAB ProjectDo you know anyone facing health or other barriers to moving forward? They may benefit from a 5 day LAB Wellbeing course on 2-6 March at Trinity House Community Resource Centre, Grove Close, Rusholme, M14 5AA.

LAB Wellbeing is based on the New Economic Foundations’s five ways to wellbeing: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give.  

Supported by peers and experienced LAB Project staff, this course will help participants to develop: 

  • Enhanced skills in self-care and working with others
  • Develop a daily routine
  • Think about their physical and mental health and set achievable goals
  • Tools to manage difficult situations 

It is hoped by the end of the course participants will have a greater sense of emotional resilience and a better awareness of how they can move forward in their life. 

LAB Project offer up to £5 a day in travel expenses and a £25 highstreet voucher of their choosing at the end of the course.  

LAB Wellbeing is aimed at adults who can self identify mild to moderate mental health and wellbeing problems. To be able to come on the course participants will need to be 19 years old or over and not currently working.
