Ambition for Ageing Local Delivery Leads sought for Bury, Rochdale and Salford

The Ambition for Ageing programme will be delivered by a cross-sector partnership, led by GMCVO and funded by the Big Lottery Fund. Local Delivery Leads (LDLs) will lead on the work in 24 wards across 8 local authorities in Greater Manchester.

LDLs for Bolton, Manchester, Oldham, Tameside and Wigan were appointed in October 2015.

GMCVO are looking for LDLs who will work in the following neighbourhoods from spring 2016. GMCVO will welcome partnership bids as well as bids from stand alone organisations.
• Bury (Moorside, Radcliffe North, and St Mary’s)
• Rochdale (Central Rochdale, Smallbridge and Firgrove, and West Middleton)
• Salford (Weaste and Seedley, Broughton, and Langworthy)

The budget for each of the three local authority areas is £650,000 over four years of which LDLs will be required to allocate 40-60% to community projects.

Commissioning Guidance events for potential bidders will be held:
Salford - 10 December, 1.30-3.30pm
Rochdale - 14 December, 1.30-3.30pm
Bury - 16 December, 9.30-11.30am
