We will be hosting a meeting immediately following the launch event, hopefully in the same venue (TBC) and are looking for Manchester-based organisations to take part. It will be an opportunity for you to find out more about what is planned in the area, suggest groups and organisations to approach and help make sure we engage with as wide a range of people as possible. Lunch will be provided.
We are also looking for organisations that would like to arrange a focus group with their clients or local residents to help them take part in the Big Alcohol conversation. You would need to arrange the focus group meeting, invite participants and provide a venue. You will not need to run the focus group itself, as facilitators will come to your organisation to do this. Your organisation will be paid £200 for arranging and hosting the group. If several organisations express an interest we will look at the range of meetings taking place across Greater Manchester, and select organisations that will give us the biggest range of participants, or help us access particular target groups.
