As part of the Barclays Community Football Fund a new grants for Black-led grassroots groups serving Black communities across Greater Manchester has been launched.
The Black Identity Football Fund has been set up through an innovative participatory grant making model, rooted in our belief that the people and communities we seek to support should be actively involved in the decisions about how grant programmes are created and where grants are awarded. An amazing panel of Black leaders have shaped this fund, developing the eligibility criteria and creating the application process. Importantly, they will also be responsible for assessing applications and awarding grants.
How to apply
Applicants can apply for grants of between £500 and £2,000, through either a written or video application.
