Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN) is a not-for-profit organisation that supports young people and youth involving organisations to participate, develop and achieve.

GMYN are looking for enthusiastic, committed people to join the board of directors who oversee the running of GMYN. GMYN would like to recruit up to four additional board members who can bring a range of experience and skills to the existing board of six people. This is an unpaid voluntary role but a great opportunity for personal and career development.

GMYN would like all applicants to have an interest in GMYN’s area of work and in particular be enthusiastic about supporting young people to make a difference to their life and the lives of those around them. GYMN are especially interested in people aged under 25 or over 45 and are happy to receive applications from people under 18.

GMYN are particularly interested in people who have experience in Human Resources, Finance or Fundraising, plus knowledge of the private sector, however a lack of this type of experience / knowledge shouldn’t stop applicants from applying.

To speak to an existing board member or a member of GMYN staff about the organisation or the opportunity to join the board, contact Alex Fairweather, Managing Director, on 0161 274 3377, or email: alex.fairweather@gmyn.co.uk.
