6 Aug 2019 - 16:30 by michelle.foster

Manchester Health and Care Commissioning is investing £1.061m over 2 years into an Older People fund. The primary aim of the fund is to increase the health and well-being of older people in every one of the 12 neighbourhoods of Manchester.  Manchester Health Care Commissioning

The funds have already been divided and allocated for each neighbourhood. Manchester Health and Care Commissioning (MHCC) are looking to support one bid per neighbourhood. Applications for funding have to have a lead organisation currently funded via the following grant programmes:
• Our Manchester Voluntary and Community Sector (General Fund)
• Young Manchester (Youth and Play Fund)
• Councils Cultural Partnership (Grant Agreement

This is a 2 stage application process – an Expression of Interest (EOI) followed by a full application. The purpose of the EOI is to find out where groups are planning to work and if there will be any potential gaps across the City, to help to inform any further development work that will need to take place. This will be made public once MHCC have all of the information but will not be viewed as final confirmation of an application or form part of the assessment process.
