Free HIV Training from Brook

30 May 2013 - 17:38 by sarah.gilston

Brook Manchester have been successful in securing funds to deliver free HIV resource training in Manchester. The training is designed for existing and experienced staff who work directly with young people. The resources are designed to fit into various subjects in Science, Citizenship, English and Media at Key Stages 3 and 4. It is also suitable for pastoral staff or PSHE and learning mentors, but they would also like to open this offer to workers who may not work in formal education but who have identified a need in their organisation and who potentially work with schools and/or as education providers.

The online resource can be found here www.learningpositive.com and Brook will be providing printed versions of the resource pack at the training session.
If your organisation would like to take up the offer you would need to provide a venue with access to the internet. The training is largely to familiarise staff with the resources and website and therefore will last up to two hours.

Please contact [email protected] to book. Training sessions are strictly limited due to funding.
