Manchester City Council is reviewing and exploring the way that Accommodation with Care services are provided for people in Manchester. The review focuses on developing a better understanding of the future needs of people in Manchester, when their needs are such that they will require support over and above what can be provided at home. For example, in a residential or nursing home, or supported accommodation arrangements. 
This work includes understanding the experiences of people using Accommodation with Care services and their families and carers, and the involvement of the voluntary and community sector.
You are invited to an open event for anyone with an interest in Accommodation with Care services including:
- People who currently use Accommodation with Care services
- People who expect to use Accommodation with Care services in the future
- Families and carers of people who use Accommodation with Care services
- Voluntary and Community Sector organisations who provide support to people who use Accommodation with Care services
The aim of the event is for you to share your experiences and have your say on what you think accommodation with care services should be like in the future. The event will be split into two sessions so that as many people as possible can make it. Each session will be the same so you only need to attend one.
