Grants of up to £32,500 available for money advice projects

United Utilities Trust FundUnited Utilities Trust Fund was established in April 2005 with funding provided by United Utilities.

The object of the Trust is the relief of poverty by providing assistance to people who are unable to meet the cost of their water/sewerage charges. To support this object Trustees wish to see all households in the United Utilities Water area managing their finances in a sustainable way and having access to support when they are in need. 

To achieve these aims the Trust runs two grant programmes:

  1. Direct grants to individuals (Call 0300 790 6172 for more information)
  2. Grants to organisations for provision of money advice and financial literacy projects that fulfil the objectives of United Utilities Trust Fund and current criteria

Applications are invited from organisations within the United Utilities Trust Fund area (see map below)

You can apply for up to a maximum of £32,500 over 1 year.
