Greater Manchester Bowel Cancer Insight Project

Do you want to help increase the uptake of Bowel Cancer Screening in Greater Manchester?

If so, apply to be a Volunteer Community Researcher to take part in some research in your own area!

Successful applicants will be expected to:
• Talk to 30 people in their community
• Recruit them to the research project
• Support at one focus group
• The research will be conducted over 3 weeks
• Starting week commencing 19 September 2016

Full training and materials are provided, expenses incurred will be reimbursed and you will be supported locally by a Fieldwork Researcher. Trained Volunteer Community Researchers will be given a certificate of completion.

Two volunteers from each local authority area are being looked for and you will need to attend the training day on: Friday 16 September 2016, 9:30 - 12:30 at Friends’ Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester, M2 5NS.
