Impact on Communities Survey

14 Feb 2012 - 14:21 by michelle.foster

MACC is working with GMCVO and other lead infrastructure organisations across Manchester to gather information about the impact of "austerity" on local communities.

We are asking for you views on how local people and communities in Manchester are faring in a climate of economic difficulty.

What problems do people and communities face and are the right services supplied to address them, or are there any areas of unmet need?

If you are an organisation working in a local community or with service users, we would be grateful if you could spend a little time telling us what you are seeing by responding to our survey, please visit: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Impact_of_Spending_Cuts_on_Communities

We know there are lots of surveys at the moment but we felt that by combining our efforts into this collective survey across all the local boroughs we produce some very powerful evidence to place before policymakers and show them the real impact on communities.

We'd therefore ask you to make this survey a priority. It should take 15 minutes or less to complete - depends how much you want to say.

No information about individual responses or organisations will be used by or passed onto any third parties. You will have the opportunity to note your interest to receive a copy of the findings as part of the survey.

If you have questions about this survey or if you require a hard copy, email: susanne.martikke@gmcvo.org.uk.
