The Inspiring Change Manchester Innovation Partnership Fund

29 Sep 2016 - 14:57 by michelle.foster

Inspiring Change Manchester recognise the outstanding work that smaller charities and groups do every day with those with multiple and complex needs across the City of Manchester; working across all areas, all ethnic groups, every demographic and all ages. Inspiring Change Manchester also know that providing workforce development opportunities and training or researching specialist topics is a luxury for many of these groups that often cannot be met from existing, over-stretched funds. Inspiring Change Manchester are aware that smaller local groups have a unique perspective on delivery to complex clients that due to the pressures of delivering a front line service, can often be missed.

In response to this Inspiring Change Manchester have worked with their Core Group of people with lived experience of multiple needs and developed some principles so that they are able now to establish the Innovation Partnership Fund; a fund which can support projects or events requiring funding up to £500.

The only criteria is that the funding is spent on something that would reduce the barriers experienced by those with multiple needs in accessing your service, and that the knowledge is fed back to them to benefit all who work with this client group. Inspiring Change Manchester will support delivery of the projects through those with lived experience and guidance.

Inspiring Change Manchester have produced guidance notes to help you think about how your organisation might want, complete the proposal form and get in touch.
