Inspiring Futures: Volunteering for Wellbeing

Inspiring Futures: Volunteering for Wellbeing is a unique volunteer training and placement programme delivered by Manchester Museum, IWM North and Museum of Science and Industry there are also a host of placement partners across Greater Manchester.

MSI will be launching the next round of the IF project by holding a taster session at the museum in mid-June, followed by a 10 week training course. The criteria for volunteers wanting to take part in the training and placement project is:

• They must not be in long term employment or education
• They must live in Greater Manchester
• They must be available during the week to attend daytime training course and placement

Recruitment is targeted at young people aged 16 – 25 years, people aged 50 +, and ex-service personnel, although people of all ages and backgrounds can apply.
