Let's End Hate Crime - Grants available for activities in your neighbourhood

13 Nov 2014 - 12:26 by michelle.foster

Manchester wants to end hate crime by building on the City's reputation for celebrating diversity. You can help do this by holding an event or activity in your neighbourhood during Hate Crime Awareness Week 2015. Events should raise awareness of hate crimes and encourage reporting.

Your group can apply for a grant of up to £200 to assist with the event. The funds can be used to cover the costs of room hire, decorations, speakers, food, arts/crafts, or any reasonable costs for holding an activity or event as part of Manchester Hate Crime Awareness Week 2015. Any event must take place between Monday 26 January 2015 and Sunday 1 February 2015.
