Mental Wellbeing Grant Programme for 2012/13

27 Feb 2012 - 09:04 by michelle.foster

The Directorate for Adults, Health & Wellbeing is pleased to announce details of its Mental Wellbeing Grant programme for 2012/13.

The Directorate is inviting applications from the Voluntary and Community Sector for Mental Wellbeing Grant funding for the financial year 2012/13. This follows the success of the Wellbeing Grant in 2010-12.

The 2012/13 programme will be prioritised on services that improve people’s mental health & wellbeing. The objective is to move towards an approach that requires services to be pro-active in encouraging people to do more for themselves, to balance the promotion of better mental health and wellbeing, together with care and treatment when appropriate.

In particular, the Directorate is looking to fund services which enable adults in their communities to:
• Connect
• Be Active
• Take Notice
• Keep Learning
• Give
