16 Jul 2020 - 15:14 by michelle.foster

north manchester togetherAre you a VCSE group or organisation based in North / East Manchester?

Are you thinking about re-opening?

Do you struggle to access online support?

You might be interested in a Covid-19 ‘Recovery Grab Bag’ that will be available for collection from Monday 20 July to Friday 31 July.

What is it?
The ‘Recovery Grab Bag’ is a pack for leaders and managers of Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) groups and organisations in North and East Manchester who are thinking about re-opening services.

It includes some of the things groups will need to help make their organisation safe for them, their staff, volunteers and service users. Many of the resources included in the packs are available online, however we know that not all groups have easy access to online information.

How do I get one?
There are a limited number of bags and they are first come first served. To make sure as many groups get to benefit as possible, only one representative from your organisation comes to claim a bag. You can ring ahead to reserve a bag for same day collection if you need to.

You can pick up a bag from either:
4CT The Grange Community Resource Centre, 4 Pilgrim Drive, Beswick, M11 3TQ: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm. Contact 0161 230 1420
Northwards Housing Office, White Moss Road, Blackley, Manchester, M9 6NZ: Monday to Friday, 9am - 3.30pm. The building is currently closed to the public so please knock on the fire door to collect a bag. If you need to call ahead, you can ring Northwards officers:
John Allan 0796 093 3093
Paul Rigg 0789 866 4778

If you are not based in North Manchester but would be interested in getting a bag in future you can email: [email protected]
