Open Air Cafe

15 Apr 2016 - 09:57 by michelle.foster

Manchester City Council are looking to recruit more LAC young people and Care Leavers in engagement activities and Children in Care Council.

Three Open Air Cafés have been organised where young people (over 11 years old) will be able to come and participate in a number of fun activities with refreshments.

Can you think of a young person or young people you work with who would benefit from having their say about things that are important to them or just enjoy getting out, joining in and having some fun.

The activities have been designed so that they are both young person and worker / carer friendly. From experience they have found that workers and carers who support young people into a new opportunity increases the likelihood that they will stay engaged.

The sessions will be in different parts of the city:
Date & Time: Thursday 21 April 2016, 4.30pm-6pm
At: Z Arts, 335 Stretford Road, Manchester, M15 5ZA

Date & Time: Thursday 28 April 2016, 4.30pm-6pm
At: Wythenshawe Forum, Forum Square, Wythenshawe, Manchester M22 5RX

Date & Time: Tuesday 3 May 2016, 4.30pm-6pm
At: Communications Academy, 2A Silchester Drive, Manchester, M40 8NT

Food and drink will be provided.

No need to bring an umbrella – the Cafés will be indoors.
